During a confrontation with the FBI and the Mass. State Police, a Florida man was shot and killed and an officer was injured.
One man is dead and an agent is injured after a confrontation between the FBI and Mass. State Police in connection with the Boston Marathon bombing in the Orlando area on Wednesday morning. The FBI on Wednesday morning said an agent, two Massachusetts State Police troopers and other law enforcement personnel were interviewing an individual in connection with the Boston Marathon bombing when he attacked the agent. The FBI identified the person shot and killed as Ibragim Todashev, 27. During the confrontation, Todaschev was shot and killed and the agent sustained non-life threatening injuries. "As this incident is under review, we have no further details at this time," the FBI said.

A 13-year-old Boston teenager believed abducted by his father was found by Cambridge police Tuesday night. Massachusetts State Police issued an Amber Alert for 13-year-old Jonathan Moore, whom they believe was abducted by his father Tuesday night. According to the alert, police were searching for 36-year-old Jonathan Moore senior, the child and a woman. Police are looking for a red 1997 Toyota Camry, license plate 634 RH4. The suspected abductor, Moore senior, is black, 36 years old, six feet, three inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes. There was no description of Moore senior's clothing. A fight broke out on Canal Street after two bar patrons bumped into eachother. Boston Police responded to a report of a fight at about 1:59 a.m. on May 18 in the area of 101 Canal Street. According to the report, officers observed a large group dispersing in different directions around Hurricane O’Reilly’s, The Fours and Sullivan’s Tap. Someone in the crowd told police that there was a man lying on the street, bleeding, near 166 Canal Street. EMT’s arrived and treated the victim for non-life threatening injuries at Mass General Hospital. The victim told police that he was punched in the face, but did not see who swung at him. A Weham man was charged with breaking into a someone's truck on Friend Street. A man on the sidewalk on Friend Street flagged two Boston Police officers down on May 15 at about 10:54 p.m. The man told officers that he had just caught a man breaking into his truck. The suspect had taken a briefcase and a new fire extinguisher. The man was able to get his property back. Officers located the suspect on Causeway Street and stopped him for questioning. Officers saw that the suspect had an open bottle of Brandy. The suspect denied breaking into the truck and taking items. The suspect was clearly intoxicated, according to their report. Investigators are looking into the possible involvement of the accused Boston Marathon bombers in the 2011 triple homicide in Waltham.
Authorities have amassed evidence indicating accused Boston Marathon bombers Tamerlan and Dzhokar Tsarnaev possibly killed three men in a Waltham home in 2011, according to ABC News. Investigators have "mounting evidence" including forensics pointing toward the Tsarnaev brothers," says ABC. Tamerlan was killed in an April 19 shootout with police in Watertown and Dzhorkar was later captured hiding in a boat in Watertown. Authorities are reporting a water main break in the North End.
A water main broke on Friday night in the North End, sending water out onto the street and reportedly flooding some basements. A city man was arraigned on his third indecent assault and battery charge Tuesday stemming from an incident on a Green Line train in Boston.
A Salem man on probation for groping two women at North Station is accused of groping a third on a Green Line train between Haymarket and Government Center late last year, Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley said. Dane Mullin, 27, was ordered held without bail Tuesday in Boston Municipal Court on a single charge of indecent assault and battery. He reportedly also had open warrants for failure to register as a sex offender and assault and battery out of Salem District Court. Suspected Boston Marathon bomber's death caused by gunshot wounds, being run over by car.
The death of accused Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev has been ruled a homicide, according to a WCVB-TV report. According to the report, Tsarnaev's death was caused by gunshot wounds from police bullets and being run over by a car. Tsarnaev, 26, was pronounced dead at Beth Israel Deaconness Medical Center in Boston at 1:35 a.m. on Friday, April 19. Specifically, Tsarnaev sustained gunshot wounds to his torso and "extreme" blunt trauma to his head and torso, according to WCVB. Police have said Tsarnaev was run over by his brother, Dzhokar, during a shootout with police in Watertown. A victim walked into the A1 police station at about 3:10 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1 and reported that her husband’s car had been stolen in the North End. The victim told police that their car was parked near 10 Moon Street between April 30 and May 1. There were no records of a towing. The victim showed police her license and the excise tax to prove ownership. The police filed a stolen/recovered motor vehicle report and the victim filed an auto theft questionnaire. This investigation is ongoing.
