Boston Latin School Ranked Best High School in Massachusetts

The school was also ranked 56th in the nation.

Boston Latin School has been named the best public high school in the state by U.S. News and World Report

The 2014 Best High Schools list ranked the school number one in the state and 56th in the nation. The school also received a gold medal rating. 

The rankings comprise data on more than 31,242 public high schools across the country. Among the Massachusetts schools in the 2014 rankings, 22 were awarded gold medals, 41 earned silver medals and 12 received bronze medals, based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college.
