Time Is Running Out: Register To Vote

Here's what's going on in the neighborhood today.

Tomorrow is the last day for voter resistration. If you haven't already registered, do so today. It's a priviledge to vote so take advantage.

Stories for little ones: The North End Library on Parmenter Street offers toddler story time at 10:30 a.m. for babies 15 months to toddlers who are three years old.

It's National Boss Day. Do you like yours? If so, tell him or her why today. Even if you don't, say something nice anyway.

Ready for Halloween? It's coming up so make sure you pick out your pumpkin (if you haven't already) and have sweets on hand for the trick-or-treaters. 

This Day in History: On October 16, 1912, New York Giants outfielder Fred Snodgrass dropped an easy pop-up in the 10th inning of the  eighth game of the World Series against the Red Sox. Boston fans know who won that year.
