Legendary boxer Carmen Basilio passed away this morning. At 85 years old, he died of complications from pneumonia.
Boston sports fan Gerry Stewart tell us that Basilio fought Tony DeMarco in the late 1950’s. One of those fights was named by Ring Magazine the Fight of the Year.
