This community is home to Paul Revere and there’s a mall where you can walk to see a statue of him.

Many of the restaurants along Hanover Street are housed in old buildings with beautiful doors and artwork on the outside. North Square is a particularly interesting spot with its narrow streets and cobblestone.

Today the North End is populated by a mixture of Italian Americans and young professionals who are attracted to the neighborhood's tight-knit feel and access to downtown. Tourists come to sample authentic Italian cuisine and enjoy a cannoli or a cappuccino.

There are also a large number of boutiques in the North End with clothing, jewelry and art.

The North End also offers Christopher Columbus Park where people walk their dogs and enjoy looking at the waterfront along Commercial Street.
