Berklee College Bringing Summer Concerts to Greenway

The free performances will begin at 6 p.m. on Fridays through August at the North End Park.

The Berklee College of Music will be bringing free summer concerts to the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway on Friday evenings through August.

Concerts are free and will begin at 6 p.m. at the North End Park, 46 Cross St.

Coming up first on Friday, July 26 is Berklee graduate Lauren Desberg, 22, a Los Angeles native and jazz vocalist.

Up next, on Friday Aug. 2 are The Dwells, a duo whose music is described as “neo-Americana, cosmic folk,” according to the Berklee website.

Boston-based Amethyst, a six-piece band that “combines pop, jazz and Latin influences,” will perform on Friday, Aug. 9.

Additional performances include: B’Major on Aug. 16, Siv Jakobson on Aug. 23 and Melanie Lynx on Aug. 30.
