It's a Toilet, Not a Wastebasket! St. John School Student Wins Honorable Mention in MWRA Poster Contest
We are pleased to announce that Julia Pistorino, a second-grader at the St. John School, in Boston’s North End, won Honorable Mention in MWRA’s Annual Poster Contest.
This year, students across the MWRA service area were challenged to create posters, essays and short videos to promote the benefits of flushing responsibly. Nearly 4,000 students entered the contest.
All of the winning posters and essays are available for viewing on www.mwra.com and at the Metropolitan Waterworks Museum through the July 4th weekend. The videos are posted on MWRA's YouTube page.
