PHOTOS: Firefighters Knock Down Blaze on Cooper Street

One reported injury in the wake of Tuesday's late night fire.

Firefighters responded to a four-alarm fire at 26 Cooper Street Tuesday night. One person was sent to Mass General Hospital with burns and the brick structure stood torched after the ordeal, according to fire officials.

Fireifghters responded to the scene at 11:05 p.m., according to the Boston Fire Department's Twitter account. A second alarm was immediately sounded, followed quickly by a third and fourth and the flames crept up the building.

The Salvation Army and Red Cross responded to the incident as well to provide support and resources for the victims.
